Required

• Working technical knowledge of object-based programming languages, including C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, or Python
• SML, XSLT, Schema coding experience and translation abilities
• Experience working with enterprise application Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Project Management practices
• Web service development knowledge
• Strong relational database experience including tuning, stored procedure development, and use of reporting services in a Microsoft environment
• Hands on experience working in integrated development environments, including, SVN, Microsoft Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server
• Extensive experience with Windows operating systems
• Extensive experience with Windows SQL Server database
• Hands-on software troubleshooting experience
• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
• Experience with specific phases of the software development life cycle, especially Agile, Test Driven Development, and Waterfall
• Familiarity with TDD and Iterative software development methodologies
• Familiarity with the health industry
• Flexible and adaptable in regard to learning and understanding new technologies

• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred

• Experience leading a development team is preferred
• Experience developing and designing n-tier applications with multi-tier architectures is preferred
• UML Modeling experience is preferred
• Facets Extension development or experience developing applications in the healthcare sector preferred
• Application development in a healthcare or payer related field preferred
• Certifications in technical tools and/or programming languages preferred (MCSD, Java, Onbase, Tibco, SAP, etc.) 1.
